Well, I finally did it. We have a blog. I feel empowered somehow.......or maybe it's just a sugar buzz from all the cough drops.....
I guess I'll start our first blog by giving a little info on the fam. We are currently living in Wisconsin after a seven (or nine) year stint in California. Rob is currently a student at Maranatha Baptist Bible College, I am at home with the children. Matthew is 2 1/2 and Benjamin will turn the big one next month. They are delightful, although mischievous, little boys. Our lives are filled each day with the happiness that only children can bring. We praise the Lord that we have them.
Matthew is our little risk taker. He likes to jump off everything he can, attempts to run into the street, and doesn't quite understand why he has to stay near us. He's learning everyday to obey better....I just hope he stays alive long enough to completely learn his lesson. (And yes, he has swung from a chandelier!) He's done every milestone early and is often mistaken as an older child because of his big vocab. Unfortunately, his maturity level is still that of a two-year-old, so he gets into unnecessary trouble from others who thinks he's "old enough to know better." Still, he takes life as it comes and starts each new day as cheery as he normally is. He's my sweetie and loves to cuddle.
Benjamin is our cautious little guy. While he has reached milestones at a more normal rate than Big Brother, he does them better. He practices everything he does. His recent accomplishment has been walking, after practicing squatting, standing, crusing, and balance for about three months. He walks better than Matthew did at this age because of it. He's a delightful child that has lots of smiles and giggles for everyone. He's rarely sad (unless he's being sat on by MJ or is hungry or tired) and has been an easy baby to raise. He's a keeper!
Everyone likes to read about the kids, so I'll just say that Rob and I exist and take care of the two adorable ones mentioned above.
I'm done now. I have officially blogged.
