The swing set

Yay!!  Our new swing set!!  Back when the tax money came in, we told the kids that we could only afford to buy a pool pass for the summer or get a swing set.  They opted for the pool pass and I told them they would just have to pray in the swing set.  So they did.  Both boys prayed that God would provide us with a swing set that only cost $10.  I began searching Craig's List and could not find anything decent that was under $100.  We looked at garage sales and either saw metal sets (too flimsy for my kids) or were beat out by other garage salers.

So the boys continued to pray.  A friend of mine knew we were looking for one and she found an ad in the paper for a free swing set.  Free usually translates into "old and junky" so we were skeptical, but we called the number anyway and set up a viewing.  The kids and I drove past the house on our way to church that night and took a look.  And fell in love!  It looked perfect!  We met the owners the next day and it turned out they attend our church.  We were all excited for the perfect fit.  Rob had a friend at work who had a large trailer so he came over and helped Rob move it.  They did have to take it apart into three pieces and Rob ended up buying three new bolts so we've now spent $1.08 for the set.  We figure we have $9.92 left for the missing slide. :)
