Hehe! Did he rip off a tab by accident? I've done that a few times and put a second diaper overtop to hold the first one in place. Then reuse the clean diaper at the next change.
Or maybe he just wants to make sure she can't take off her diaper herself? ;-)
You're very close! She did take off her diaper herself and in the process ripped the tab. He had just changed and refused to waste a diaper, so he duct taped it. The boys were rather curious and tried to undo it themselves. He did say it was pretty hard to get off when he changed her before bedtime :)
