Made of Money?
Today, Matthew put in his request for his next birthday. (????---didn't he just turn six???) He wants the Lego Star Wars Endor set, price tag around $100. Rob told him that is was too expensive and that he might change his mind between now and July. Matthew told Rob that he won't change his mind and he'll bug Rob EVERY DAY about getting the set. Rob still told him no. Matthew then said, "But Dad, you have that card that works everywhere! Why don't you just use that?" Perhaps it's time to take our lessons on money to the next level: explaining the debit and credit cards :)

Yep,Yep,Yep, six years old is about the age you thought you could get anything you wanted for Christmas. Things had to be explained to you , too.
Gotta love those lego sets! Jonathan knows that if it's over $50, he's not going to own it unless he buys it himself!
