Cain and Abel

It has begun. This morning, Rob was on the thinking chair (I was still sleeping) and the boys stopped making noise. Rob got a little concerned, so he investigated. The boys were in the kitchen and had opened the big bag of Halloween candy and had gotten into a box of Jujubees. Rob asked Matthew if he opened the bag. With a sticky candy in his mouth, Matthew said, "No!" After three more questions of "Did you do it?", Matthew finally admitted to opening the candy, but then said, "Ben ate some too!" Rob asked Ben if he ate the candy, and he said, "Matthew open!" Ahhh....so young to be starting the blame game. A few hours later they are still blaming each other....

In other news, Ben discovered yesterday that his bottom has a crack. I was changing his diaper and was just about to put on a new one when he reached down and grabbed his little cheek. He got a panicked look on his face and said, "Ripped! Ripped!" I still haven't stopped laughing!!

The second paragraph is so funny, I am still laughing. Grandpa said he has Elmer's glue available.

you need a big gate to pin them in the living room, I think. Can't let them out of your site. quiteness usually means trouble. Hope baby girl doesn't take after the boys. otherwise you really have your hands full. watch out.

I stepped into Sela's room for 30 seconds this morning to grab her leotard and a sweatsuit. When I returned to the kitchen, she had pulled a bar stool over to the fridge, had pulled down her plastic bucket of Halloween candy (yeah, our church festival was Saturday.........), and was standing there on the stool with her hand in the bucket.

And people think it'd be safe for me to let her get up and watch TV by herself when she wakes up at 4 a.m. HA!!!
