Ni-Hao, Diaper Free-World!!

Potty-training the daughter has gone into overdrive. She has finally shown a real interest in it and even took herself potty yesterday with great success. Anna has a Ni-Hao Kai-Lan (Knee-how Kie-lan) shirt that she knows she gets to wear if she goes potty, but loses if she wets herself. She's had it on and off today, so we're struggling a bit, but she's getting it!

So here's the haul when this little girl is finally diaper-free: permanent use of the shirt, a Kai-Lan doll on the first completely dry/clean day, and a family trip to Chuck E. Cheese when she has proven to be completely potty-trained (okay, so I'm still trying to convince Rob on that last one). The boys also get 50 cents toward a stamp set they want (Make-A-Monster) each time they take her potty.

Overkill? Not a bit. Shoot, I'd add a trip to Disneyworld to celebrate a diaper-free life if I could afford it!!!!

(FYI--Ni-Hao is Mandarin for "hello" and Kai-Lan is a Chinese version of Dora that is far less annoying and more interesting. And cuter.)

Cheer her on for us. Yes , I would celebrate, too, and probably did when all of you were done with diapers. Especially when we had the twins in diapers and were done for good. Go for that trip out to Chuck E Cheese.

Woohoo!

Yeah...I always joked that by the time the last one was potty trained, we'd be finished having children. God has a sense of humor...just as Arden was getting the hang of potty training, I found out we were expecting Kenna! :-)
