Anna and Ben had their first fight today and I think it might have come to blows if it had gone on much longer. Ben found a pair of children's sunglasses under my bed (problem #1...they are NOT allowed in our bedroom) and Anna wanted them. She kept trying to take them off his head. He finally got fed up with it and pulled her pacifier out of her mouth. Ooo...that's low. She grabbed the glasses again, he took them back, and she yelled, "No-no!" at him. I think the fight ended about that time and we took off for the library.
But wait...the saga continued later in the afternoon. Ben fell asleep on the couch and Anna took the opportunity for a little revenge. She grabbed one of her stacking cups and whacked him on the head with it repeatedly. He woke up and fussed at her then went back to sleep. This time Mommy intervened with a sound "no-no" and took away the cup. Anna cried, but there were no tears. Just "the look" given to Mommy at the end of the crying and she went back to trying to whack him. We went through this about three times before she got the point.
And later, she was busy bringing in my bread containers (both empty) and taking them back to the kitchen when Ben decided to put them away for me. She got a little upset with him, but decided to let it go.
Can't wait until tomorrow!
